7 Richvale, CA Richvale, CA $80,000 - $95,000 a year $80,000 - $95,000 a year As our Production Supply Planner you will play a crucial role in ensuring Lundberg Family Farms has the necessary raw materials and resources available at the right time and quantity to fulfill production schedules and customer demand.
This role involves meticulous planning, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving to guarantee smooth and efficient operations.
This position is primarily accountable for the development, maintenance, and execution of Master Production Schedule, weekly production schedules, internal material movement, and inventory levels.
Responsibilities Include:
Develop and Execute Production Planning:
Meet or exceed customer order fill rate targets for product availability and lead times.
Develop and execute the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for internal production and co-manufacturing; distribute and oversee the execution of the finite schedule, ensuring all requirements in the MPS are planned and produced in an optimized fashion in the planning horizon.
Optimize inventory levels to reduce carrying costs.
Optimize Material and Finished Good Inventory Management:
Maintain optimal safety stock levels for critical materials based on lead times and demand uncertainty.
Develop and implement a strategy to reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventories.
Implement ABCxyz analysis to prioritize inventory management efforts based on material value and usage.
Forecasting and Supply Management:
Implement robust forecasting methods that consider historical data, seasonal trends, and market fluctuations.
Collaborate closely with sales and production teams to ensure accurate demand projections and production planning.
Develop contingency plans to mitigate unforeseen supply chain disruptions and minimize their impact on production schedule.
This is an onsite position with the option to work remote 1-2 days per week.
Bachelor's degree in business administration or another related field preferred.
3 to 6 years of demonstrated ability in Supply Chain including Supply Planning, Production Planning, Production Scheduling, Material Planning.
3 years of experience working with S&OP and/or IBP processes.
Strong understanding of scheduling functions in ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.
Expert proficiency in computer skills, particularly within Excel, is required.
Meticulous attention to detail is a critical attribute for success in this role.
Demonstrated ability to identify & implement creative solutions to drive cost out of the supply chain and improve existing systems & processes.
Strong understanding of manufacturing practices including Bill of Material usage and how they relate to materials planning.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
